Outstanding Italian walnut, parquetry bureau cabinet fruitwood inlaid with scrolling foliage,
The upper section with a shaped carved cresting centered by a cartouche-shaped mirror with
engraved putto figure. Above a pair of mirrored doors, finely engraved with female figures enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon-holes and drawers.
Above three serpentine drawers with projecting canted corners and serpentine sides on bracket feet.
Provenience directly from a Roman noble family, early to mid-18th century.
